Kids C.A.R.E. is a 4 week program that helps children and parents “Cope Against Raging Emotions”. The program is geared toward children aged 8 – 12 and helps families explore the causes and effects of raging emotions.
The program offers support tools and techniques to assist the child when confronted with bullying and to help them learn to handle anger and tempers. The Children will be exposed to a variety of ways to channel their emotions positively, while using hands on, developmentally appropriate materials and real-life (role playing) situations.

Parents will also learn how to help their child manage situations and provide positive role modeling.

The Kids C.A.R.E. group will meet every Tuesday from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at Forest Green Estates in Meadville beginning March 18th 2014.

Fair Housing Seminar @ Cribbs Community Room at Wesbury

Center for Family Services is sponsoring a Fair Housing Seminar.  The guest presenter is  Kelly Valdez from SW PA Legal Services.

The training will offer a comprehensive overview of the Fair Housing Act including:

  • Who is protected?
  • What types of housing are covered?
  • What are prohibited practices
  • What options are available to victims

Erlichs’ Pest Control will conclude the seminar with a presentation of Bedbugs and other pests.
