Adopt-A-Family
Local families are identified throughout the year and adopted during the Holidays. These families are experiencing financial difficulties and have unique situations. Partner agencies also send us referrals. Please understand that this program is limited and we do not accept “sign-ups”. You may contact us to find out what other programs you may be able to use to help with your family’s holiday.
How you can help
The Adopt-A-Family program is unique because the entire family is assisted, not only children. Many of our adopters assist with anything from gifts to groceries to helping with a utility bill. If you are interested in talking to us about being an Adopter, please contact us!
Back to School Supplies
Center for Family Services, Inc. collects donations each summer to provide new backpacks and school supplies to Crawford County Students in need, Pre K through 12th grade. The availability is based on community contributions.
The program has been helping Crawford County students since 2004. In 2016, over 625 Crawford County students received new school supplies. We strive to help as many children as possible get a great start to the school year, but we can’t do it without you.
